Profile
Khurram Qayam has joined NEC in August, 2021 as ‘Technical Sales Lead’ and is part of the 5G Open RAN CoE team based in London, UK.
Khurram has been working in telecoms industry for the past 20 years. Prior to joining NEC, he has worked for Telefonica O2 in Germany (2002-2005), Alcatel Lucent (now Nokia) in UK (2005-2013), D-Link Europe (2014-2015), and most recently with Huawei Technologies UK Ltd (2015-2021). Khurram hold a master’s degree in telecommunication system engineering from University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany (2002) and an Executive MBA from Imperial College Business School, London UK (2012).
