Profile
Viplob Syngal has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He has held the position of Head of Business Development, Global 5G Centre of Excellence – NEC since April 2020. In this function, Viplob is responsible for prioritising and managing global Open RAN opportunities including leading the commercial management and negotiations of the key deals.
Prior to re-joining NEC, Viplob worked with Net Insight in the media technology segment defining their overall portfolio strategy following an acquisition that they had completed. Viplob started his career with Nortel and spent 15 years with the organisation.
Over the years, he has held leadership roles in business development, product management, commercial management, and global account management.
Viplob studied in the United Kingdom and has a degree in Electronics Engineering as well as an MBA.
